Managing Addison's day to day

A calm routine for timing, logging, and knowing when to escalate.

A steady daily rhythm

Living with Addison's or adrenal insufficiency is often about small, repeatable habits: take labelled doses on time, notice how you feel, and keep emergency information easy to reach.

What to log

Mood, energy, symptoms, and medication timing help you spot patterns before an appointment — and help carers understand your day if you share access.

When something changes

Follow your clinic's sick-day rules. If you are vomiting, collapsing, or cannot keep steroids down, treat it as an emergency and use your steroid card / SML guidance.

In the app

Use the Log tab for quick entries, and Safety for kit location, contacts, and SML.

This guide is general information only. It doesn’t replace advice from your GP, endocrine team or emergency services. If you think you’re having an adrenal crisis, call your local emergency number.
